Are you counting? It’s 23 days before you board your magnificent ship! Today is the day to think through all of the appointments you need to book before you take your cruise. This is easy. It’s just a day to list and make your appointments. We made a big list. Some you may need, others you may not. But, we wanted to cover all the bases! One thing we have learned is that last minute begging for an appointment doesn’t always work. So, book your pre cruise appointments ahead and cancel if you need to.
Big hint! We want to remind you to count your medication and make sure you have enough for your cruise. If not, call your Doctor for refill!
Shauna hint -Hi Ladies! Those of you who color your hair, count back from the day you arrive home to see if you need a touch up before you go. I love the quick T-Zone color! And I am in love with the new travel powders that cover your gray. (Wait! Did I just admit I have gray?)
- Doctor appointment, order refills of medication
- Hair appointments , color, cut, blow dry
- Animals to be groomed
- Chiropractor/ Acupuncturist/ Physical Therapy or Therapy
- House Cleaners
- Kids appointments, Doctors, tutors, pick and drop offs, etc
EXAMPLE – Many of your prescription insurance companies will allow a one time vacation refill. Meaning, that if your prescription would run out while you are gone, you can get an early refill for it.
EXAMPLE – We had a client with a bad tooth that kept putting off getting it fixed. Of course, while she was aboard she broke the tooth! No fun going to a Doctor on the ports. If you have any issues that need to be checked, do so before the cruise.
EXAMPLE – Shauna waited way too long to get her hair color appointment. When she wanted to make one last minute her stylist was booked. She went to an unknown stylist and needless to say she paid for it her entire cruise. And after, every time she looked at her pictures!
Call and schedule your appointments in advance! That is your job for day 23!
